My husband and I have been married almost 26 years (anniv. 7/18). We only ever been married to each other and have only kids between us. I'm always surprised when folks say how rare that is nowadays. Then they ask how we stay together. It's not been easy, but not because we don't get along. We have our squabbles, but the biggest problem is schedule. He works nights and I work days. For most of our married life he's worked either second or third shift. He works 6-7 days a week. We only sleep together (I mean as in share a bed) about 3 nights a month. So how DO we manage?
